Our ECO Mannequin

Our new ECO Mannequin is a sustainable solution to conventional mannequins, as it uses raw materials that biodegrade. Once the mannequin has reached its life cycle, it can be left to biodegrade or it can also be used as a fuel for power stations, as concrete filler or it can be upcycled and used as ornamental products, such as in the garden. Our ECO Mannequin has a life span that is equal to a fiberglass mannequin, as well as being just as strong.

How is it made?

Our ECO  Mannequin is made using raffia paper, rice powder, and bio resin.

The raffia paper is produced in China and it is this paper, along with the rice powder, which is twisted and worked into a lattice. It is then wetted out with resin, allowing it to expand and flatten out. This lattice work is specifically produced for the production of our eco mannequin, this is what gives it its strength.

The resin we use is made from cornstarch, it is an approved solution which has a life cycle analysis and shows a cradle to grave process. It is produced and patented by Dupont Tate and Lyle.

All of our paint and lacquers are water based and pass all the certifications, these can be provided if required.

The fillers we use are recyclable and the metal fittings are produced from 65% recycled metal.

What finishes are available?

We offer a range of finishes for the ECO Mannequin. From a raw lacquer or raw matte finish that shows off the beautiful lattice work to fully painted matte or gloss mannequins in any colour.

Our Packaging

It is not just our ECO Mannequin that is environmentally friendly, the cartons for our mannequins are made from recycled cardboard and all packaging material, such as paper and foam, is recyclable. The printing on the cartons uses water based paint and we can even use cardboard pallets made from recycled cardboard, or plastic pallets that can be used again.
